Terms of use

The ground rules for using this website.

Effective October 13, 2026 · Last reviewed October 13, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of hearme.foundation (the "site"), operated by Hear Me Foundation, a Utah nonprofit corporation recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity ("we," "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Not medical or crisis advice

Information on this site about sleep, breathing, orthodontics, health, or wellbeing is general educational information. It is not medical advice, does not create a patient relationship with us or with any clinician, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your situation. Care at the Hear Me Health Center is provided by that organization under its own terms.

Hear Me Foundation is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger or in crisis, call or text 988 in the United States, or call your local emergency number.

Donations

Donations made through the site are governed by our donor policy, which covers receipts, refunds, recurring gifts, restricted gifts, and donor privacy. Payments are processed by a third-party processor under its own terms. All gifts are voluntary contributions to a charitable organization; you receive no goods or services in return unless we say so in writing at the time of the gift.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to do anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, to scrape or harvest information about other people, to submit false or misleading information, or to impersonate anyone. We may restrict access to anyone who violates these terms.

Content you send us

If you send us a message, story, photo, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate anyone else's rights. You keep ownership of what you send. By submitting a story or photo and telling us it may be shared, you give us permission to publish it on our site and in our materials, edited for length and clarity, in the way you specified (with your name, without your name, or not at all). You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us, and we will remove the material from anything we control going forward.

Our content

The text, design, logos, and graphics on this site belong to Hear Me Foundation or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not use our name or logo to imply endorsement or a relationship that does not exist, or reproduce substantial parts of the site without our written permission.

The site links to other websites, including the Hear Me Health Center, Hear Me, and our payment processor. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse everything on the linked site.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors, interruptions, or security problems, and we do not make any warranty, express or implied, about the site or its content, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hear Me Foundation and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with its effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
